Winter Shoes

It’s that time of year again! Snow! Being a fan of winter,I love shopping during this time of year for shoes and layers to wear!

Weirdly enough, living in the midwest, it hasn’t been any major snow! The weather has actually been all over the place. Wearing clothes for the warmer days then the next day being assaulted by the cold. Only for it to pour down raining the next day soaking your shoes.

Speaking of shoes, greatly enough, I have some shoe ideas just perfect for winter!

This happens to be one of my favorite outfits. Don’t mind the snow in the background, because being honest, this is a picture from last winter that I am using. Just being honest. However the outfit still remains. haha.

Wanting an outfit and shoe that has quality but also keeps you warm and toasty can sometimes be a bit difficult depending on where you live. In the midwest, it can be hot in the morning and in the afternoon. You go to work or go to class, come outside and it feels like you have been hit by a truck with the cold wind. The sun is no longer out and it looks like it’s going to storm. Then it storms. And by the time you make your 3o minute drive home, the sun is out and the weather is acting like nothing happened. To sum it up, weather is unpredictable in the midwest. But surprisingly, I actually like the cold.

The rain and snow don’t make me tired. Instead they make my more vibrant and energetic. Probably because I’m a night out- being that the sun isn’t out as long, kind of messes with my Circadian rhythm.

A cardigan and a nice pair of shoes and purse always tend to do the trick for me. I either like to wear dark shoes or shoes that I know can handle terrain for the winter.

Timberlands have become one of my favorite pairs of shoes in the winter when looking for a tomboy look. Owning an original pair and different colors, I love how I have the option.

However, being that I am wearing a cardigan and nice Coach cross-body, this look can be great to dress up or down.

Below, are some other shoes that I love wearing in the winter. my coach boots and Tommy Hilfiger boots have also become a favorite.

What are your favorite winter shoes!? I always am looking for new options!
All the Blessings and the Love,
