Being that it’s the last month of the year, many of us are preparing for the New Year. That time where we say we are going to do something in big only to fall off track going into February. Or if you are like me, think that we can binge and just get everything out and when the clock hits 12 we’ll stop. Knowing well we won’t and we’ll break a few days later.
So I got to thinking. Why not start now? Gradually but surely create a better and healthier lifestyle for myself. Don’t wait until the New Year to go to the gym. Go Now!
When I had jaw surgery in July 2016, I had lost a lot of weight. 30 pounds to be exact. But there was one thing I didn’t change. I didn’t change my habits once I slowly was able to go back to a solid diet. Causing me to gain all my weight back plus some. Taking me to an astonishing 278.6! Yeah. I know.
I began to think I’ll just let it go and when January hits I’ll put the work in. But healthy living doesn’t just happen over night. It takes time. Realizing that I started this past month slowly watching how much I ate and how much water I drank. Having my low moments and catching myself I’m glad to say some progress has been made.
But I can’t just stop. I have to continue to motivate myself. Maybe while I’m at it this can motivate you as well. I have a lot of health goals for 2017. I hope that I can achieve them. But instead of waiting, I am getting a head start.
In order to keep me accountable, here are my stats!
Starting weight: 278.6
Current Weight: 265.8
Weight Lost: 12.8
Energy Level: 4/10
Average hours sleeping: 4
Average water intake: 40 ounces/day
Goal: Don’t care about the weight. Just want to be Healthy!!
As you can see I have a long way to go. But again, it takes time!
What’s your health Goals?
All the Love and Blessings,
Andrea Othela
