Rise like a Phoenix

Yesterday I had one of the worst days with my depression in a while. It was a very vulnerable and scary feeling. Recently, I have been having trouble getting out of my depression phase and to get back in the swing of things, but this morning I told myself it was time to force myself to move forward again.

We all have moments where we doubt our life path or what we are doing in life. That’s where I am at this point. But that’s okay, it’s okay to have bad days or be cranky on some occasions. As long as you give yourself that day, and then the next day you get up and try again with a new a optimistic mindset.

We can achieve anything we put our minds to that God allows. Working on giving myself a chance with some of my goals and dreams has been something I am working on. I had originally started my 100 days at the gym challenge on my blog. But I’m going to switch things up a bit. I’m going to start a challenge today that I am naming “100 days a Phoenix”. A challenge I am giving myself to change my ways and rise from my current situation to a better me and a healthier me.

A challenge that I hope will change my mindset for the better and will bring forth opportunities that I cannot even imagine. Feel free to join me on my Instagram at ‘andreaothela’. Let’s rise from the ashes!

All the Love and Blessings,

Andrea Othela
